Cub Video !
One of our customers was SO enthusiastic about the little Cub that he made a movie of it !
Very nicely done, Eddy van Gelder, thank you !
The Little Cub That Can
Yesssssss !! It’s a SUPER Cub, that means MORE horse power and more agility. Brought to you by Simon Smeiman of South Africa who started it as an experiment. That experiment grew out to be a full-blown, 4-version model of the famous Piper Super Cub, based on the Top Cub blueprints.
This is Simon’s very first aircraft, designed with FSDS. It flies like a Super Cub should fly and you can plunk it down just about anywhere in the bush!
Season doesn’t matter, it comes with working skis! Runway not needed, it comes equipped with floats. Or just use the Tundra wheeled version and bounce it onto any river bank!
Simon was so kind to put an extensive demo package out on the main FS library sites, for FREE! But if you like what you see and want to support him to make MORE of this, then $ 11.11 (or Euro 7.77 on simMarket) is not a lot to ask, is it?
Check it out on the product page here, or go straight to the purchase page.
Flight1 wrapper guarantees a hassle-free purchase and each version has its own installer.
HAVE FUN !!!!
New FSAddon Service Coming
We’re working on a new service for flightsim fans. In a few weeks you’ll be able to rent a CHEAP website for your VA from us, readily installed and functional. We’ll even make you a personalized header if you provide us with a picture. The site will be based on the famous Wordpress blog software and hosted on our Silver Cloud Publishing hosting accounts.
When we say cheap we mean CHEAP. How about $30 for a whole year !??
Of course we’ll offer other and additional services at a price, up to entire custom made websites. But the bottom line is that you can run a VA for $ 30 a year. Period.
We’ll have a ‘demo site’ up soon and will report back here when we do !
More news about Plum Island
Bill Womack is hard at work on his first airfield in a series of ‘reasonably priced’ small fields. It will be a series of fields all situated in New England. Although small and cheap you will see that the quality is extremely high….. You can feast your eyes on more screenshots below, but also follow the development ‘live’ on Bill’s blog !

Family issues throw spanners in wheels
It happens to all of us, losing loved ones. And it never happens at an opportune time, obviously, because there IS not opportune time for something like this. For more on this sad subject, please read my blog. I keep this space free for more FS related issues.
She flies !!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I’ll be the first to admit; there’s still a TON of work to be done….. testing, testing and testing… getting a lot of details figured out and improved. A proper airfile needs to be added, as well as sounds. And then of course the scenery, the missions……
But…… we’re finally making headway again, so NOW we can leave for France….
Some more pictures, fresh from the paint shop…… first beta, remember!

Sneak Peek !
What you are about to see is NOT an FSAddon.com product, but from a project that we are deeply involved with. And this is just the top of the iceberg, really.
We’ll have more news in a few days if all goes well….. news about a new company founded by a famous person in the FS industry, its new products and projects….. so stay tuned !!!

More stuff a-comin’
Yes folks, although Nina and I are almost packing our bags, car and motorbike to head off to France, we still want to share a few things with you.
First of all the Piper Cub by Simon Smeiman…. I am working on the packager and we should have it out this weekend if all goes well! Oh yes, I’ve read some grumpy comments on it already by people who have tried the demo version of it. All I can say is: it is a FIRST by the author, I like flying around in it, and it isn’t expensive. Anything else is a matter of taste.
Secondly, Bill Womack is working on an exciting new project (and YES, also on Tongass Fjords and Emma Field). He’s a real busy bee he is!
Feast your eyes on this !!!

And there is one more thing, but I’ll save that for a separate post………… STAY TUNED !
Bush plane coming !
I’ve been busy with a ton of things lately, but I thought to take some time out and make a few pictures today. Here’s a sneak peek of what’s coming this month….. a BUSH PLANE!
No, not the Lizzie, but just as much fun for bush pilots….. Simon Smeiman of South Africa has built a wonderful little Piper Cub – a Super Cub! – and we’re aiming to get it on the market this month !
More good news….. it flies in FSX… but also in FS2004 !
Best news….. it will NOT be very expensive……
