PLEASE NOTE: SUMMER DELAYS IN CD DELIVERY

Dear Customers,

during the Summer Holidays when we are traveling on the motorbike and visiting various airfields, there will be delays in CD handling I’m afraid.
We are traveling between July 18th and September 27th.
Orders placed in that period can have delays of up to 4 weeks !

(Note: we managed to send most orders out so far and we brought a few copies with us here, so the current orders will be serviced next week already).

We are somewhat delighted to see you here, assuming you are interested in the product you just have stolen, or are considering to do so. Because that is of course what torrents and the Swedish Pirate Bay and all similar places are all about.
Stealing work from honest, hard working people.

And hey, maybe, just maybe you decide to actually PURCHASE any of our products after reading our site.
Perhaps by realizing how much time, effort and passion goes into making our products.
Or maybe because you decide you would like to have stellar SUPPORT.
Or maybe just because you would like to have us CONTINUE to make these wonderful products.

Here’s a bit of background about some of us:
I myself set up this one-man company after being made ‘redundant’ at a large international company. Instead of ‘benefiting’ from jobless pay and social welfare, I decided that that money be better used on real sorry cases in our society, and instead used my OWN money to take a huge risk and start a company (at the age of 52, I may add).
We are not poor, but have no pension built up to speak of and are just making a small profit out of this (and other activities!), working 7 days a week, usually 14 hours at the PC.

One of our newer authors, who designs wonderful and CHEAP Flight Simulator aircraft models, lost his job and is currently struggling to keep afloat and find a new job. His already cheap aircraft the Bobcat seems to be very popular to steal !
Go figure.

A product such as Tongass Fjords X took more than 2 years to make, by people who had to work on other things as well to pay the rent and have some food on the table.
Their main driver for making these products is PASSION, fun of making something that others are happy with, challenge of mastering the technique, love of aviation, and yes, trying to earn some money……

The same story goes for ALL involved in FSAddon.com products, nobody can do this entirely full time and live of it, nobody is getting anywhere near rich from it, and quite a few have actually had to STOP doing it because the effort and time needed versus sold product was just not feasible anymore.

I could go on, it holds true for most of ‘my’ authors, but also for most of our competitors in the field of software design, and especially in the niche Flight Simulator market.

This may seem a bit of a strange way of addressing the issue…. so be it. I know we can’t stop this, I also know there is no use ‘discussing’  it with certain people, but I still hope there’s a sliver of honesty left in some of you and maybe this will make you think again.
 

So now go ahead and download the torrent, install you illegal copy and hopefully STILL ENJOY it.
WE enjoyed making it for you and although we of course would have hoped you had the decency to pay us the small amount it costs, we still hope you will enjoy it and get to peace with your conscience.

SmartStart permits users to have IYP launch other applications, such as simulator(s), Radar Contact, WideClient, SquawkBox, etc., and is a feature that is especially useful for our blind and visually impaired pilots.
SmartStart not only enables IYP users to select applications that automatically launch every time they jump into the pilot’s seat, but it also allows them to select the order and the delay in which each is launched. Applications can be easily added or removed, and the order and delay in which they occur can be changed to suit the user’s preferences.
SmartStart can be used to launch up to ten (10) applications….".
