Last week I received an e-mail from Simon Smeiman in SA, announcing that he is ready with his total rework of the Lockheed Hudson and will upload it to me as soon as he has a chance to visit someone with an internet connection. After that we’ll have to do some more QA testing of course, AND build the User Manual.

We’d also like to get ‘Lysander-like’ missions in the package, but are still looking for some scenery builder help in that area ;-)

The aircraft itself will be yet another improvement on Simon’s ever-increasing skills and quality and have some awesome features. It can even drop depth charges !!! Stay tuned for more news!

But, Zoldo made it and is now available for purchase in our shop. CLICK HERE! Another master piece of Daniele Tona of RealEarth and another piece of the puzzle to get the Dolomites completed! We’ll have a freeware part added to it soon, portraying the majestic dolomites in the area. Stay tuned !

But in the meantime we have Zoldo (a new Dolomiti X scenery from Real Earth X) almost finished for publishing, and the Jon Patch has made much progress with his brand new Version 3 of VancouverPlus for FSX ! More news on that when we have it….. beta is almost finished now !

On another topic, our webshop (aka Silvercloud Store), here’s some more exciting news: we’ll have new products coming from FranceVFR and Design4FS soon.

FranceVFR is publishing new parts of their HD photoreal scenery of France, with Normandy as the latest additions. This is truly awesome scenery and a real gem in our shop !

As for Design4FS: Kurt Stoeckli of Switzerland has made a product called Glacier Pilot, with a licensed FSAddon Super Cub as part of the product. Glacier Pilot is an add-on for FSX and Switzerland Professional and lets you operate from glaciers in the country of the clocks. Awesome scenery, great fun – especially for a mountain pilot like me – and also including new liveries and FSX Missions!

Next: Vancouver FSX Version 3 is well on its way to maturity with the first Beta Period coming to a close. This has been in the making for a long time, but we can promise you that the wait was worth it!

Next is Zoldo. A new release of a wonderful part of the Dolomiti, built for you and brought to you by RealEarth from Italy. Hopefully packaged and documented in 2 weeks from now and in the shop by that time!

Also, we are now featured on a website about ‘Social Studies’ built and maintained by mr. Jimmy Stockard of Florida. Check us out here (and some of his other pages).

During my Winter Vacation I have been working on researching the Hudson landings in WW2, and now have a list of Landing Zones to work on for Simon’s upcoming new release. We also intend to try and find some of them for real this Summer !

And last but certainly not least, yours truly is now in charge of Computer Pilot Magazine’s new website and community and involved in the re-launch of the magazine, now under new ownership of Marc Georgen from Maui Artwork in Luxembourg. I am sure I’ll be doing a tad more than just run the website, but lets leave it at that for now ;-)
