OfflineThankyou, Francois, I have seen on other forums that some simmers have had success at shifting Tongass X to P3D, but without making a big thing of it, I was trying to keep within the Eula by buying an extra lisence if necessary, or getting access to a proven method of transfer which is not going to stuff up my system. Should you have time to check this out I would appreciate it, but if not c'est la vie! <img src="http://fsaddon.eu/wpfsaddon/wp….." width="18" alt="Cool"

OfflineThanks for your consideration, I appreciate it.
Having said that, I personally would not want to charge 'extra' for running it on P3D. I will advise my developers the same policy. It is bad enough that Microsoft screwed you and us, I don't see a reason for the add-on publishers to do the same ;-)

Hello Francois,
After reading your post I tried to install Tongass X to Prepar3D and it seems to install ok but there are missing textures, could you please check with the developers for a correct method of installation or maybe a side by side license, I wouldn't mind buying a new P3D license if necessary.
Thanks

OfflineWe are looking into this later this year (unless Holger comes up with a surprise before that). It does not have our highest priority currently, but it is on the list .
Kind regards,
Francois

OfflineCouldn't find much info on this so thought I'd ask.
I have installed TF into P3d using the FSX2P3D Migrator tool with no issues. The only problem is that the AI do not display. If I have P3D display labels, I can see WHERE the AI should be by the red label but nothing is visible. I can see the bgl's in the scenery library.
Any idea of how to enable them?
Thanx,
Vic Baron

OfflineHello Vic,
I'm not currently using P3D and thus cannot test this myself. I assume though that you've copied all TFX components into their corresponding P3D folders, including the various "_TFX" AI folders from the FSX \SimObjects directory? Also, all flightplan bgl files you want active need to be in the FSAddon\Tongass_Fjords\Tongass_Fjords_Higher_Priority\scenery folder. There are copies in the \Cache subfolder but those are inactive.
If all those components are in place the AI should show unless there's some inherent incompatibility between FSX and P3D that I'm not aware of.
Cheers, Holger

OfflineHi Holger –
Thanx for the quick response. Looks like all the files are there but no joy with the AI. I've posted in the LM p3D forum so lets see what they say. Probably something simple. I'll dig into it a bit more. Seem to recall some folks saying that they had some texture issues which they resolved but don't recall anyone mentioning an AI issue.
And I understand the product was developed for FSX so I am not expecting that it would be fully compatible.
On another matter – would you consider doing an email interview on your products, etc with FlightSim.com? As they relate to simming in general, not specifically P3d. We are continually looking for developer information that we can share on our front page. It would be an honor if your would consider doing it and I fully nderstand if you haven't the time. If you wish, you can contact me via my email in my profile.
Thanx!
Vic Baron
